But. you also state the activation code won't work which implies you are seeing the newblues. If that is the case, be sure you enter the complete activation code. I say this because I used cut and paste to enter and for some reason the full activation serial number did not paste. I happened to be in contact with NewBlue at the time and they pointed out the incomplete serial number.

That number in the email is NOT and activation code. That is a coupon code. Follow the steps I showed above. You will not see the activation code until you start the download. For me, the coupon code was useless. BTW: I also tried to activate using the coupon code and of course, it did not work.

In MEP go to the help menu and select activate contents pack. There you put in the coupon code. I believe you will get a message to go to the store to download the contents. It is NOT in the store. Restart MEP and hopefully at this point the 5 steps I mentioned above should work. I am still bothered by the fact you don't have anything in the extra effects .I believe with MEP Pro and MEP Pro Premium there should be a few New Blues. Hopefully, going to the activate contents pack under the help menu will at least get something in the extra effects. With all the misinformation from the Magix email I kept putting in the coupon code each time getting the message to the effect I have been credited with those NewBlues and go to the store to download them. It had nothing to do with the store.

I recently purchased and installed Movie Edit Pro Premium 2020. This was a new installation; I previously had MEP Plus 2017, which I uninstalled beforehand. My purchase included NewBlue Titler Pro 6 and NewBlue Elements 3 Ultimate. I summoned these effects add-ins via the Activate Content Pack(s) function, using the provided coupon codes, following through with downloading via the Extra Effects menu. The packages downloaded and installed as expected (serial numbers returned). After restarting MEP, when I open the Effects menu, I see the additional icons for NewBlue Elements and Titler effects. So far, so good.

I spent a good portion of the day trying to figure this out. Magix sent me the "coupon code" and then the "serial number" but of all the plugins and such that I purchased, this did not come with a download link. I attempted the Help>Download Store Content AND Help>Activate Content, but it took the coupon code (sent me the serial number after) and never downloaded anything. I have rescanned and restarted many times. Also tried downloading from NewBlue, but they say it must be downloaded from Magix. Every other plugin came with a download link, why is this different?

This is what I did, among other things, with nothing downloading after it took my "G3" code. NewBlueFX said that I must download "TotalFX-Magix Edition" from Magix. No download on NBFX "download-dash" works with the serial number that Magix gave me.

It seems the "TotalFX-Magix Edition" must be different from the previous "TotalFX-7" released with earlier versions of Magix software. I was able to obtain a download that I found on the Magix server for "TotalFX-7," but it would not take my serial number to activate. Therefore, it must be a different download all together or Magix sent me a bad serial number. I did, however, receive a separate "invoice" from Magix that detailsMagix still has not updated my support ticket on the subject either.
